Marc Fahringer is an amateur photographer who enjoys spending his time in the woods with raptors and wildlife, but also enjoys shooting astrophotography, sports, city landscapes, portraits, events, and sunrises/sunsets. His journey into wildlife photography began in 2014 after a lifetime of being in the woods and watching nature. After experience with barred owlets and hummingbirds, he purchased a camera and long lens, and the traveling began. During the past several years, he has been to Virginia, DC, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, Maine and other locations along the East Coast to explore and take photos along the way.

Marc uses a Nikon D500 with a combination of Nikon 18-300m and 50 mm, Opteka 6.5mm fisheye, Rokinon 24mm wide angle, and Sigma 150-600 Sport lenses. He uses an Innorel tripod, Thinktank bag, and a Lowepro bag for shorter trips.

Marc has also photographed several weddings, family events, charity functions, and skateboarding events with the DC Wheels skateboard charity organization.

When not out shooting photos Marc enjoys spending time with his wife Allegra and dog Wookie, riding road or mountain bikes, hiking, skateboarding, and being outdoors exploring this wild world.
